Tragična
sudbina jedne srpske seoske porodice u Prvom svetskom ratu, za vreme
austrijske okupacije. Muž odlazi u rat gde biva ranjen, a ženu siluju i
ubijaju okupatori. Deda spašava tek rođenog unuka i kada se sin vrati iz
rata kao invalid, čekaju ga već sin koji je porastao i komšinica koja ga
je odgajila. Najbolji jugoslovenski igrani film između dva svetska rata,
najiskrenija apologija stradanja i spasenja srpskog naroda u Prvom
svetskom ratu, restaurisan je 1988. godine kada je sa velikim uspehom
prikazan na festivalu u Pordenoneu.
Tragic destiny of a
Serbian rural family in World War I, during the Austrian occupation.
Husband leaves for war where he is wounded and his wife is raped and
killed by the occupying forces. Grandfather saves the newly born
grandson and when the son comes back from the war as an invalid, his
grown-up son and the neighbour woman, who brought him up, awaits him.
The best Yugoslav feature film between two World Wars; the most honest
apology of suffering and salvation of the Serbian people in World War I.
It was restored in 1988 and screened on the Festival in Pordenone with
great success. |
